One of the things that continues to amaze me is in how little effort camera companies put into really describing their products or defining their terms. You'd think every one of their sites would have a glossary, not only for widely accepted terms, but also for those proprietary coinages they love to label their products with. The following glossary goes at least part way toward filling this gap. Following the glossary is our closing section on caring for your camera.
